Family and Friends

Our Family and Friends Educational Seminars are held twice per year and consist of two sessions in one week, totaling 5 hours. These seminars are good first points of contact with NAMI Toledo for families and friends who care about a person struggling with mental illness.

Without previous experience or training, it can be hard to understand mental illness or know how to help. Basic information will be provided about:

  • Mental illness and helpful skill-training
  • The crucial need for caregivers to maintain good self-care habits and get emotional support
  • Find an upcoming class on the Events Page.
